Case study how to improve alexa rank fastest under 100000 10000 : A fastest ways to Improving Your Alexa Rank : Many people ask us: How can I improve my Alexa Rank? We understand how important this metric is for you and your business. As a public metric, potential advertisers, investors, and partners will look up your Alexa Rank and use it as a way to evaluate the value of your business. For this reason, improvements in your rank can make a real dollars and cents impact on your bottom line.

For those of you who are new to Alexa or unfamiliar with the Alexa Rank – it is a single metric that provides a quick summary of a site’s performance (yours or your competitor’s) relative to all other sites on the web. If you aren’t focused on it, you may not be doing everything you can to maximize the value and visibility of your business. In all, the authority of your site on the web is translated as your Alexa Rank.

But before we dive into how you can improve your site’s Alexa Rank, we should take a step back. It’s important to understand the makeup of the Alexa Rank so you understand how you can make it better.

Let’s get started.

What is the Alexa Rank?
Your Alexa Rank is an estimate of how popular your site is relative to all other sites. The Alexa Rank answers the question: Compared to all other sites, how is my site doing? Note that since rank is a relative measure, your site’s rank is not only dependent on that site’s traffic, but also on changes to traffic on other sites.

How does Alexa get its data?
Alexa has a large traffic data panel consisting of millions of people all over the world. Based on the data from this sample, Alexa estimates the number of visitors to all sites on the Internet. It’s a complicated calculation that involves correcting for biases as well as identifying and discarding fake or spam traffic. Our data scientists are the best in the business and they make sure the data we present is free of noise and non-human data, so you can make the best decisions for your business.

How is the Alexa Rank calculated?
Every day, Alexa estimates the average daily visitors and pageviews to every site over the past 3 months. The site with the highest combination of visitors and pageviews over the past 3 months is ranked #1. The site with the least is ranked somewhere around 30 million. If no one in our measurement panel visited a site over the past 3 months there is no rank at all for that site.

How does the number of visitors to a site affect the Alexa Rank?

If you plot the number of visitors to a site versus the rank it looks something like this:Visitors vs. RankAt the head of the graph is Google.com, which gets a huge number of visitors and is ranked #1. The sites at the “head” end of the plot, like Google.com, get a huge amount of traffic compared to the sites on the “long tail” at the other end.

The important thing to notice is that because of the shape of the distribution, a very small change in the number of visitors to a site on the long tail results in a large change in rank.Long_Change Visitors vs. RankHowever, the closer you get to the head of the graph, the more visitors it takes to move up a rank. There’s a huge difference in traffic to a site ranked 10 versus a site ranked 200.High_Change Visitors vs. RankGetting a more accurate Alexa rank

To get a more accurate Alexa Rank you can certify your site’s metrics on Alexa. Sites with certified metrics have their metrics directly measured by Alexa instead of being estimated based on information from our data panel. Certifying your site’s metrics provides a more accurate rank, but not necessarily a better rank! There are several other benefits of Certified Site Metrics, but a more accurate Alexa Rank is just one of them.

So, how do you get a better Alexa rank? There are several tactics that will help improve your Alexa Rank:

Produce engaging, original content, updated frequently that provides real value to your audience. Content that strays from this motivation fails to build loyal audiences. When readers find resources valuable and informative, they engage with future content and share among their networks (link building), introducing new visitors that potentially turn into customers. Quality content is also being rewarded by search engines like Google, which is taking steps to get better answers faster for the end user.

Get more related sites to link to your website. Otherwise known as inbound links, this tactic helps search engines clearly define your niche and also increases the trust and quality of your site. In other words, authoritative inbound links (from sites that are performing well) give your own site credibility. This tactic must be supported by producing engaging, original content, because why lead targeted visitors to your site if they don’t want to stay?

Internal links, on the other hand, are links that lead from one page or post on your site to another. These are beneficial because they guide visitors through your website (i.e. website navigation), keeping them engaged with relevant and related content. They also contribute to site links, which are the sub-links that appear in a search engine below your main page link. But again, creating top-notch content goes hand in hand with any internal linking strategy so make sure the content you produce is relevant and of value to your visitors.

In all, both inbound and internal links help search engines understand the content of your site(s) and determine how valuable it is to visitors. But while an important part of your online strategy, you should use linking appropriately. Excessive linking can reduce the credibility or readability of your site and may be penalized by search engines.

Find keywords that are driving traffic to your competitors and optimize your site for them, or buy PPC campaigns for those keywords. By doing a little keyword research you can understand what your audiences are searching for and how. In a way, keyword research is learning to speak your customers’ language in the context of their needs and desires. Inbound Marketing Agents shared a great infographic on the 5 fingers of a keyword placement strategy that will help you pick the right areas on your site to place your target keywords.

Understand your competitors’ marketing strategy and learn what works. There are several reasons why analyzing your competition matters, but in a nutshell competitive analytics puts your own site analytics into context. Thus, giving you a clearer understanding of what metrics are important, what strategies are working (for you and your competitors), and allows you to identify and anticipate industry trends. All of these angles help inform your overall strategy and allow you to make more knowledgeable business decisions that will positively affect your position in the market.

What is Alexa and what is the Alexa Rank?
Alexa (acquired by Amazon and the almighty Jeff Bezos) is a company that maintains traffic data regarding websites, and it’s mostly known for its website rank information, called the Alexa Rank.

The Global Alexa Rank indicates how popular your site is around the world and the Local Alexa Rank shows popularity in the country that the domain has been registered in.

Where can you get your Alexa Rank?
Here you can find the Alexa Rank of your own site.

Does the Alexa Rank matter? Why should anyone care?
The Alexa Rank is a very important tool for marketers as it shows the advertising potential of a site. The lower the number, the more traffic that the site gets and thus the more people that ads can be served to.

Domains with lower Alexa Rank are generally regarded as more valuable than domains with higher Alexa Rank.

Having a low Alexa Score can increase the CPC that you get through your Ad network or even help you land nice native advertisers on your site.

Therefore, lowering the Alexa Rank of your site could prove beneficial for your business.

Google Alexa Rank
Here’s Google’s Alexa Rank for example
What factors affect the Alexa Rankings?
According to the Alexa Blog on “how to improve your alexa rank”:

“EVERY DAY, ALEXA ESTIMATES THE AVERAGE DAILY VISITORS AND PAGEVIEWS TO EVERY SITE OVER THE PAST 3 MONTHS. THE SITE WITH THE HIGHEST COMBINATION OF VISITORS AND PAGEVIEWS OVER THE PAST 3 MONTHS IS RANKED #1.”

In my own experiments I’ve also found that there are multiple other variables (ranked in order of importance) that play a role in the Alexa Rank algorithm. This include:

Traffic from people that use the Alexa Toolbar (which is a horrible estimation of number of site visitors)
Number of page views
Time spent on site per visitor
Bounce Rate and CTR (Click-through-rate). Learn how to increase your CTR.
Quality and Diversity of the views
Number of inbounds links to site (also known as backlinks)
Social Media share, likes, comments count
Site Load Speed (which leads to visitors not leaving your site so quickly)
Site UX/UI
Do Alexa Rankings affect SEO or traffic?
There’s no direct correlation between SEO and Alexa Rank.

However, a lower Alexa Rank might imply high amounts of traffic which could be related to having SEO blog posts on the first page of Google.

Sites that have their Alexa Rank under 10k, are probably enjoying a good chunks of visitors from the SERPs (Search Engine Results Page).

Bonus: Make sure you do not make any of these mobile SEO mistakes.

How many views do I need to be on the top 100,000 sites on the Alexa Rank?
Google Analytics and Alexa report different numbers.

For instance I have 2 sites on the top 100,000 which report traffic of 30,000 (ranked #99k) and 150,000 visitors per month (ranked #70k).

So here are some rough numbers for a month of traffic:

Top 100,000 = 1000 visitors per day.
Top 50,000 = 5000 visitors per day.
Top 20,000 = 10000 visitors per day.
Top 10,000 = 25000 visitors per day.
Top 5,000 = more than 50000 visitors per day.

Actually write amazing content of 2500+ words. If you want to do SEO yourself, here are some SEO tips that might help.
If you want to attract webmasters (i.e. people that will most likely have the Alexa Toolbar installed) then you should write content that they will most likely read like SEO, digital marketing, etc. If you are writing for moms, talk about newborns, trolleys, baby formulas, etc.
Did you know RankBrain is the 3rd most important SEO factor when it comes to rankings?
More importantly, share that content everywhere (on Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Pinterest) and get unique page views. You can also try running FB ads to get some more social traffic.

Get high-quality backlinks and do guest posts on other sites to improve your domain authority. (Did you know I accept guest posts on 4 different sites I own?)
By increasing your domain authority you will have a much easier time ranking your content, which will drive your visits up and will boost your Alexa Rank.
Constantly refresh your old articles (that might have dropped in traffic volume) and also stay up-to-date with the latest SEO changes.
Get covered on major media and drive more traffic to your site.
Why great content is key to improving your Alexa Rank and your blog in general
Every time you write an amazing piece of content, you have an opportunity to rank that blog post high on Google and thus drive additional visitors to your site.

How can you write great content?
Great content starts with solid keyword research.

If what you write is not something people are searching for, then it won’t help you increase your traffic.

Great content has the following characteristics:

It answers the users questions
It is thorough (2000+ words)
It contains everything you could possibly want to know about that topic
It is easy to read and it is actionable, backed by data or experiences
It is presented with great UI and UX

How to increase your Alexa fast in in 2021 under 100000 :
It wouldn’t be a classic post if I didn’t show you a script-based way to solve a problem, would it?

Ok, so here are the simple steps to lower that Alexa Rank:

Install the dumb Alexa Toolbar on multiple browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc).
Download your favorite VPN (I like Windscribe) and connect to it.

Go to PageReboot on every browser, put your site and set the refresh time every 60 seconds (or longer if you’re patient).
Sit back, relax, read another one of my blog posts, and wait for about 15-20 min.
You can change the country in Windscribe now.
(Optional but recommended if you have the budget) Get your Alexa page certified by buying one of their plans.
For best results, do this at different times of the day and also change your IP Address every 10 or so minutes.

Your Alexa Rank should update every day if you have a rank < 100,000 or every week otherwise, so expect to see the results of the boost in about two weeks or so.

Other blackhat methods to improve the Alexa Rank of your site
Don’t have time? Buy a fake rank by hiring someone on Fiverr
Use an Alexa boosting service like RankBoostUp.
(Not necessarily blackhat) Buy a highly trafficked domain and redirect it to your site. i.e. CNN.com -> theinsurancenerd.com
Aside: Which sites are in the Alexa Top 10 Global?
According to Alexa Top Sites, these are the most visited sites in the world in 2019:

Google
Youtube
Facebook
Baidu
Wikipedia
QQ
Taobao
Tmall
Yahoo
Amazon
Flux Chargers (jokes)
Mysocialbookmark.xyz (soon!)
So, what is a good Alexa Rank number?
That is a highly subjective question.

I know many bloggers that would kill for a global rank under 100k. For others that numbers is still too high.

I think 100k is a good metric for bloggers whose main job is not blogging, especially since at <100k the metrics reported by Alexa get more and more accurate.

At the same time, I suggest that instead of just looking at a number in isolation, you compare that number with other blogs you like and that are in your industry.

For instance if you write about cooking, you can compare your site to AllRecipes (Alexa Rank = 692) and Martha Stewart (Alexa Rank = 5.3k) or even Jamie Oliver (8k).

Ultimately, the number doesn’t matter much as long as your main objective is accomplished. I know many thriving ecommerce stores whose Alexa is well over 500k.

Benefits of having a lower Alexa
Assuming your Alexa rank is legit and hasn’t been tampered, there are some good benefits you can expect from a lower number:

You will get more business. A lot of bloggers will reach out to guest write on your site and people might trust you more.
Your site will be referenced and copied more (i.e. backlinks). A lot of bots are running around copying content from different sites that generate traffic. Most of the times you will garner new links this way. Since these copied sites usually have lower Domain Authority, your site won’t be affected by duplicate content penalties.

You can see other interesting metrics on the Alexa rank page such as these audience demographics on Gender, Education and Location:
alexa rank demographic info(Note you can see these on Google Analytics too)
You will be able to brag to your friends
Conclusion about the Alexa Rank

So there are two ways to grow your Alexa: either through content that SEOs to the top or by means of scripts and fake traffic with the Alexa Toolbar installed (or an Alexa booster service).

If you’re wondering… No, I didn’t use this to modify my Alexa. I care about accurate metrics and my traffic comes from search and social.

I would honestly strongly advise against using any sort of blackhat or hackish ways to increase your rank
10000 because in the long run those will hurt your business. The best way is to simply create amazing content and grow a business out of it.
